Look, everyone (well at least my roommates/neighbors who hear me belting her songs in the shower) knows that I love Taylor Swift. I love her twangy tales of teen heartbreak and her catchy pop guitar riffs. But I'm going to be really real here, you guys: I'm getting just a wee bit sick of her whole "pretty, girly dress and winsome, innocent face" thing, as demonstrated for the 6,789th time on the cover of the latest issue of Glamour UK. It's like, I get it. You like full skirts and sequins and red and pink and lace and femininity and the world is constantly taking you by surprise, in a totally pleasant way. I GET IT. But can you just once in a while throw on a tattered black t-shirt and some leather pants and maybe even some smudgy eyeliner and a scowl? Just to keep things fresh. Do it for us, T.
