Gwen Stefani Is A Very Fancy Matador On The Cover Of Vogue
I'm pretty sure 90% of the entire universe (aliens and other life forms included) would agree with me when I say Gwen Stefani pretttttty much never, ever looks bad. I've waxed poetic on this before (she's pretty much perfect, even in excessive tribal prints, etc) so I'll spare you that, but I will say that her new Vogue cover for the January 2013 issue is ALMOST making me question my previous convictions.
I want to understand this fancy matador look, with the giant black hat and the gold sequined jacket and the ruffled blouse and of course, the giant black bow around the neck, but I am having a bit of trouble wrapping my brain around it. The whole look is brand-new Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane, and since he is so inspired by music I suppose the only person who COULD pull this look off would be a rock star like Gwen, but even with that logic I'm left feeling a little muddled.
What do you think? Do you love this look?
