Fashion Five: 5 Questions With Jennifer Missoni
It's no real surprise that Italian-born actress Jennifer Missoni has great style, considering her fashionable pedigree. The daugher of Luca Missoni (yes, that Missoni) started attending theater camps when she was twelve, and continued to study theater and acting throughout college. The 27-year old tri-lingual beauty (she can do 10 different accents!) has since appeared in guest spots on various tv shows including Gossip Girl and Law And Order, and has roles in the forthcoming comedy Wifed Out and the Malin Ackerman/Matt Dillon film Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, both of which will undoubtedly put the adorable Italian on the map.
We got the chance to ask her a few questions about her style and her career:
1. What is your number one favorite item of clothing you own and why?
My Lulu Lemon black Wunder-Unders because I wear them almost every day!!!!!
2. What is one look you wish you could pull off but think you can't?
Turbans
3. What is your biggest fashion regret?
Wearing thick, nude colored "grandma" stockings with a beautiful dress. I didn't quite realize just how thick they were when I put them on at home...
4. What has been your favorite professional acting job to date?
I loved working on Fringe. I had to go to a very deep, dark place emotionally for the role. The actors and the director I worked with were all wonderful. We shot on location in Vancouver and I'd never been there before. The whole experience was amazing and exciting.
5. How was it working on the set of Gossip Girl? Did you get close with any of the cast members?
All my scenes were with Leighton Meester and I was so excited about working with her because I was such a big fan of her work on the show. She is as sweet and lovely as she is talented. I had so much fun working with her, and she ended up coming with me to London to shoot the Missoni campaign!
