Sometimes rules are broken left and right (no red on the red carpet, clashing colors, awkward hemlines) yet the result is near perfection. Carey Mulligan is a perfect example of this. The Shame actress attended the London Film Critics' Circle Awards in England on Jan 19 wearing a berry red Roland Mouret dress with white leather flower appliques and an unorthodox choice of bright blue YSL pumps. The whole look is 40s and quirky and shouldn't work but totally does.
