I don't have cold hard statistics to back this up, but I would feel pretty comfortable going out on a limb and saying that Cameron Diaz gets it right fashion-wise about 90% of the time. She's not particularly adventurous so she keeps it pretty simple, and with her athletic build, bombshell good looks, and mile high legs, most outfits look pretty killer on her. Most, but not all. As evidenced by this get up the actress wore to the LACMA Art + Film Gala on October 27. I love the color of this dress, but that's pretty much where the love ends and the confusion and distress begin. What's going on with those weird bell sleeves? The belt is cool, but the odd puffing/bunching below it is not. And the costume jeweled collar is way more third grade art teacher than glamorous Hollywood star. I half expect to see some paint smars on her face and a macaroni bracelet on her wrist (which actually might look cool with the right outfit, just not this one).
