Despite the name, my mom is nowhere to be found on Lulu Chang's super popular fashion blog, Lulu And Your Mom (if she were, there would be a LOT more red lipstick, sequins, and Haddaway). But what IS on Lulu's blog is a fresh take on fashion, mixing street wear with high fashion and personal musings for a blog that is always not only a treat for the eyes, but a treat for the mind, too (what can I say, I'm a nerd for words).

I asked Lulu what her current most favorite item of clothing is. Here's what she said:

"My favorite thing is this Nike NSW Destroyer jacket. To paraphrase Coco Chanel, or something, a black jacket is a good investment. Even better when the sleeves zip off. Even better when it's sporty."
