Look, I'm probably the biggest proponent of comfortable footwear on the planet. Actually it's shocking that I haven't actually just jumped the shark and started wearing exclusively Crocs and those orthopedic lace-up jams old folks wear (actually those do have a nice little platform and are kind of cute so they might be added to my wardrobe soon). That being said, on New Year's Eve, even I strip off the five year old Chuck Taylors and try to class it up a notch. Which means that those of you who are able to actually wear cute shoes during the rest of the year should definitely be able to bust out the ankle-breakers for the dress-up holiday of all dress-up holidays, New Year's Eve. Especially since you will be ditching the boring LBD and wearing a fantastically out-there frock, right?
