If I had a style polar-opposite, it would most likely be Solange Knowles. Solange loves: prints, prints, kitten-heels, pencil skirts, prints, the color yellow, and prints. Yasi loves: t-shirts, t-shirts, jeans, the color black, black jeans, sneakers, black sneakers, and t-shirts. However I am still able to admire Solange's bold, lively take on fashion because a) I'm not some sort of psycho who can't appreciate anything outside of themselves and b) because the actual worst thing possible in fashion is being totally boring, and that is something Solange certainly is not. The 26-year old beauty has as of late completely side-stepped out of big sis Beyonce's shadow, making a name for herself first as a style it-girl, then as a DJ, and now as a musician in her own right, making dreamy alterna-pop with an 80s vibe with collaborator Dev Hynes (who also works with Florence + The Machine and Sky Ferreira).
