I'm the kind of weirdo that dwelled for a good long time on the fact that both the female stars of the highly-anticipated film The Dark Knight Rises wore white dresses to the premiere of the film in New York on July 16th. WHITE dresses. To the DARK Knight movie. What are they trying to say? What does it all mean? Probably nothing, I decided after about 40 min of mulling. That being said, while their dresses were both the same color, nothing else was similar between Anne Hathaway and Marion Cotillard's premiere looks. Anne donned a long white Grecian-inspired dress with a peplum waist and a jeweled bit in the bodice, while Marion kept it real French (and a little Black Swan) with a ballet-inspired frock with a sequined bodice and a very full, very ruffled skirt.
