Who Wore It Better? The Green Grammy Gown: Florence Welch VS. Katy Perry
I love a good green gown, and not only because I am a sucker for alliteration. There's something about a great green that is downright regal, which makes it the perfect color for something as important the Grammys. Both Florence Welch and Katy Perry apparently got this memo (from the fashion gods?), and both chanteuses (that word would be green is words were a color) wore different shades of green to the award ceremony on Feb 10. Florence chose a super futuristic long-sleeved dress in a deep metallic green, complete with a leg slit and a bunch of spikes in the bodice that made her look like a sexy dinosaur (but you know, in a good way), while Katy opted for a 70s-inspired mint green gown with a jeweled neckline and a giant cleavage cut-out that basically said FU to the new Grammy dress code.
