Who Wore It Better? The Slinky Black Gown: Taylor Swift VS. Iggy Azalea
It continues to blow my mind how many different interpretations of black gowns there are in this world (I'm a simple person as it turns out; the world is constantly taking me by surprise). There were at least five completely different versions of this iconic dress at the Brit Awards on Feb 20th, but two of the most interesting ones were definitely worn by Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea. Taylor's version was definitely overtly sexier: a sleeveless modern silhouette with mesh paneling, a gold belt, a two separate thigh-high mesh panels in the skirt, but although Iggy's black gown was at first glance more demure, with her insane curves, the long-sleeved avant-garde dress with bold shoulders was almost sexier than Taylor's more revealing number.
