Look I'm all for nautical-inspired fashion. In my closet (in between the racks of black) is a row of about seven different striped shirts. That may be a little excessive, but maybe not as excessive as this sailor dress which while cute, errs a LITTLE one the side of theme park employee. Perhaps it's the combo of the giant collar AND the stripes AND the anchor embroidery, but the whole thing smacks of costume party.
