First of all, this necklace pretty much had me at "Escapist" (not sure what that says about me, per se) but past that, the "choker and bib" is at once both modern and ancient looking, and actually sort of reminds me of something that would be worn in Game Of Thrones (although I'm only a few chapters in so please don't slaughter me if that's completely off base). That last bit is also a selling point, because in my infinite desire for escapism still lies the smallest desire to look awesome, and this necklace seemingly fulfills all my desires (accessory-wise, anyway).
