Look I'm going to be completely honest here and admit they I have only the vaguest understanding of what the word "ratchet" means, mostly because I'm about a 105 years old and because I keep listening to stuff like Third Eye Blind when I shoud be keeping up with the latest hip jams. So I asked my friend Urban Dictionary, which told me that it means " A diva, mostly from urban cities and ghettos, that has reason to believe she is every mans eye candy. Unfortunately, she's wrong." Not sure if that's meant to be a good thing or not, but if not, I appreciate Melody Ehsani for taking the word and making bling out of it, kinda sorta in the same way a feminist might take back the word "bitch" or something. (This all might be a huge stretch but you're also talking to the person who just figured out what YOLO stands for like a month ago).
