America's sweetheart Taylor Swift lands her first Vogue cover this February, and as usual, the 22 year old country cutie looks stunning. With her newish fringe-y bangs, giant floppy hat, and dramatic eye make-up, Taylor is looking very French sex-kitten. Between this cover and the recent announcement that she is performing at this year's Grammy Awards, 2012 is shaping up to be a pretty great year for Ms. Swift.

British socialite and model Alice Dellal is much beloved for her punky style aesthetic, and now she is the face of Marc Jacobs' Spring 2012 ad campaign. The 24 year old (who has previously modeled for Mango and Agent Provacateur) also been tapped by Karl Lagerfeld to be in some ads for new Chanel handbags (as seen in the behind-the-scenes photo below). Looks like it's going to be a good year for Miss Dellal, and half-shaved heads everywhere (you too, Ke$ha).
What do you think about this choice for Marc Jacobs? Do you like Alice Dellal?
In further proof that her star is well on the rise, "Video Games" chanteuse Lana Del Rey has landed the cover of Interview Russia. The 25 year old internet sensation is undoubtedly an it-girl to watch this year, and she will be performing on Saturday Night Live on January 14th, a few weeks before the release of her debut album "Born To Die" at the end of the month. Watch her self-made video for "Video Games" below.
What do you think of Lana Del Rey? Is she a flash in the pan or is she here to stay?
Katy Perry apparently took a page from Selena Gomez' style book and dyed her hair blue. A fan ran into the newly divorced 27 year old and posted this pic, which ended up on a Tumblr page (the internet is magic). We're loving the blue 'do, especially paired with the patriotic Jeremy Scott x Adidas duds the pretty pop star is sporting.
What do you think of Katy's new locks?
It's just been announced that Kristen Stewart has been tapped by Balenciaga creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere to be the new face of the brand's women's fragrance. The 21 year old Twilight starlet said in a statement about the announcement: "I love Balenciaga fashion because it is incredibly bold and forceful, yet feminine and sexy. I found there was a real creative freedom about this project. I feel blessed and really proud of being the face of this new fragrance." The self-proclaimed tomboy is a longtime fan of the brand (as evidenced by her many Balenciaga red carpet looks, above) and seems like a perfect fit for the brand's low-key, high-fashion, edgy rock n' roll vibe.
Stewart also told Women's Wear Daily, "Balenciaga has always stood out to me. Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”
What do you think of Kristen as the face for a major fashion house's fragrance? Do you think it's a good fit?
Kreayshawn has been included in Marie Claire's list of pop music's "next wave of chart busters" along side Ellie Goulding and VV Brown in the February issue of the magazine. The twenty-two year old stunner looks incredible, momentarily trading her signature streetwear for bold brights and a flower crown, with just the right amount of purple in her hair.
What do you think of Kreayshawn's look in these photos? Are you a fan?
Is kind of the best thing ever. Don't believe me? Watch:
Mila Kunis has joined the ranks of several other high-profile Hollywood starlets including Marilyn Monroe and Rita Hayworth as the newest face of luxury brand Dior. The 28 year old Friends With Benefits actress appears in the house's Spring 2012 ads looking elegant and dreamy, and not just a little like another of Dior's gorgeous spokeswomen, French actress Marion Cotilliard. While they may have gone a little heavy on the Photoshop, no one can accuse Dior of having bad taste in its ladies: Kunis is the second Black Swan beauty to grace its ads, as Natalie Portman is the face of the Miss Dior Cherie perfume.
What do you think of Mila in these new Dior ads?
Lady Gaga will be helping Elle Magazine UK ring the new year as the star of both their January 2012 covers. In minimal make-up and toned down diaphanous pastel outfits, this is a softer, gentler Mother Monster. We've noticed that the queen of shock and awe has sort of turned down the craze in recent times, but these looks are down right virginal compared to some of the spikes and chains and skirt steaks of yore.
It's especially weird since Lady Gaga hasn't graced that many magazine covers in 2011 OH WAIT YES SHE HAS only like 24 of them (Click here to view of the gallery).

Because she hasn't made me feel old/inadequate enough, Tavi Gevinson has now revealed that in addition to being a celebrated style blogger, magazine writer, website editor-in-chief, and world renowned fashionista, she can also sing. YES, the fifteen-year-old with the perfect bangs can carry a mean tune (and also play the guitar!) as evidenced in this video she made for the website HelloGiggles. Watch below and then join in me in my tepid tub of self-loathing:
