I don't really believe in sandals. Not in the way people don't believe in fairies or vampires (for the record, I believe in both) but in the way that I'd just rather wear sneakers or boots or any other closed-toe shoes about 99.9% of the time. (The .01% pretty much only extends to being right next to a body of water, walking home from a pedicure, or in the shower at the gym). That being said, I do sometimes enjoy a good sandal wedge. (Women: infinitely complicated). Lately I've been seeing a lot of printed ones all over the place, and while bright colors are not exactly my cup of tea, I still like looking at them on other people.
